    "I guess I'll do it," came the voice of a small chocolate tortie. Ridley Duchannes padded over on sparkling white paws. "I'd prefer not to get my paws dirty, but the Clan must be fed one time or another." The she-cat sighed. She looked at Ringbearer, Lakewall, Perceptionminded and Silverstrike.
    She rolled her heterochromatic eyes and sat down. "We should eat before we head out." she suggested, grabbing a mouse from the fresh-kill pile. She ate it with little bites so she didn't damage her perfected fur that she had spent half an hour grooming. Ridley tried her best to look presentable. It was a shame her cousin, Tarnishedpaw, didn't.

Although she had never mothered any kits, she cared for the young of the clan just as much as the next cat.
